Dear Editor:

The Wills Point Volunteer Fire Department offers huge thanks to the citizens who have donated bottled water and other things to help our firefighters stay safe and hydrated in the midst of all the grass fires in the county. Our firefighters battle extreme heat conditions (including the fire itself) while wearing close to 50 pounds of gear. We still need donations of water and sports drinks.
