October 15: The Benefit Riders of East Texas will host their 7th annual Toy Run event, beginning at Ramsey’s Roadhouse in Wills Point and ending at the Blue Star Live Curtain Club in Ben Wheeler. Registration opens at 11 a.m. at Ramsey’s, with the scenic ride following shortly thereafter. Additional information on the event can be obtained by contacting Jacque Williams at 903-312-4106.

October 21-23: The Historic US 80 Hi-Way Sale is a biannual yard and garage sale is with events scheduled each April and October. The route runs from Mesquite, Texas through Louisiana to Jackson, Mississippi. The event was started by the East Texas Tourism Association, and Texas remains the most active participant in the garage sale.

October 29: The Wills Point Chamber of Commerce will host its annual BOO on the Bricks event from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. throughout the downtown area. Events and attractions will include kid friendly vendors, trick or treating, costume contests, a cornhole tournament, a chili cook-off and more. October 29: The Arrowhead Tipi Resort, located at 3670 FM 2475, will host its annual Tipis-N-Treats event from 6-8 p.m. The event includes free trick or treating, s’mores, face painting and hay rides. November 9: The Wills Point ISD Board of Trustees meets on the second Monday of each month beginning at 6 p.m. at the WPISD Administration Building located at 338 W.N. Commerce St. The meetings include an opportunity for members of the community to address the board, monthly reports and action items related to the WPISD’s monthly business.

November 10: The Wills Point City Council meets on the second Tuesday of each month beginning at 6 p.m. at the Wills Point City Hall offices (located at 518 Houston Street). The meetings include an opportunity for members of the community to address the council, monthly reports from department heads and action items related to the city’s monthly business.
