The No. 1 British Flying Training School Museum’s series of Second Saturday Veterans’ Breakfasts will resume at 9 a.m. Saturday, August 13 at 119 Silent Wings Blvd. in Terrell.

“We took a brief break and skipped the July breakfast but will welcome veterans from any branch of service to the museum for doughnuts and coffee and conversation from 9 to 10:30 am on August 13,” explained Executive Director Patrick Hotard. “There’s no formal program, just neighbors getting together to visit. It’s our way of saying ‘thank you for your service’ and that we remember and appreciate their willingness to defend our country and democracy.”

Other breakfasts are set for Sept. 10 and Oct. 8. There is no charge to attend the event.
