1938 - 2024

Josie Bell Sanders, a compassionate soul whose life was a testament to love, care, and unwavering dedication, peacefully passed away on January 1, 2024, in Grand Saline, leaving behind a legacy of warmth and kindness.

Josie was born on Sept. 15, 1938, in Edgewood. Josie is preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Levell Wilson, her husband, Arvis Joe Sanders, as well as her brothers, Charlie Wilson, Lester Lee Wilson, and James Willie Wilson, and her sister, Pearline Lewis.

A celebration of Josie’s life was held on Jan. 5, 2023, at Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home in Wills Point. Visitation preceded the service by two hours, offering an opportunity for friends and family to come together and share fond memories.

Josie Bell Sanders will find her eternal rest at Haven of Memories in Canton.
