Ruth Ann Willis, a beloved resident of Wills Point, passed away peacefully on January 21, 2024, in Tyler, at the age of 79. Her life was celebrated in a funeral service that was held on Thursday, February 1, 2024, at Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home, followed by a burial at Cana Cemetery. Ruth was born on January 29, 1944, in Canton to Everette DeWitt Higginbotham and Willie Mae Salters Higginbotham.
