A celebration of life for Terrance “Terry” James McDermott, 74, of Wills Point, is scheduled for 11:00 A.M., Saturday, August 20, 2022, at Russell Memorial United Methodist Church in Wills Point. Services are under the direction of Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home.

Funeral services for Torie Anne Walker, 74, of Fruitvale, were held Monday, August 8, 2022, at The Church of Latter-day Saints in Wills Point. Burial was at Small Cemetery. Family received friends one hour prior to service time. Services were under the direction of Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home.

A celebration of life for William D. Polley Jr., 78, of Winnsboro, was held Tuesday, August 2, 2022, at Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home in Wills Point. He was welcomed home in the arms of his Lord and Savior while visiting with family and friends on July 27, 2022, in Terrell. Bill was born on October 23, 1943, in Myrtle Beach S.C. to William Dee Polley Sr. and Doris Mae Slocum Polley, both of whom preceded him in death along with his loving wife of 56 years, Carolyn Gwen Polley and great grandson, William Dean Wampler.

Funeral services for Ricky Douglas, 63, of Wills Point, were held Tuesday, July 19, 2022, at Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home. Burial followed at White Rose Cemetery. Family visitation was held Monday evening, July 18.

Funeral services for Melba Joyce Wantland, 89, of Mesquite, were held Saturday, July 23, 2022, at the Mesquite Church of Christ, located at 400 W Davis St, at Laurel Oaks Memorial Park. Melba passed away on Tuesday, July 19, 2022.

Funeral services for Kelly “Thomas” Williams, 28, of Mount Pleasant, were held Saturday, July 9, 2022, at Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home in Wills Point. Visitation was held two hours prior to service time. Burial followed at White Rose Cemetery.
